Aalto Vase 16cm Recirculated
In the decades since premiering at the 1937 Paris World Fair, design legend Alvar Aalto’s flowing wave (“aalto” in Finnish) shape has become a timeless symbol of Nordic design. Iittala takes the legendary vase to another level with the recycled edition Aalto vase. The vase is made of 100% recycled glass produced entirely from waste glass at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland. Each unique glass vase is first mouthblown, then hand cut before going through several polishings at the Iittala Glass Factory. These recirculated glass showcase a unique mix of blue and green hues, with each piece varying due to the recirculating process.
