Taika Sato

The story of Iittala’s beloved Taika collection continues with the launch of Taika Sato, a collection of tableware and decorative items, in 2024. The new collection features rich and exquisitely detailed artwork by Taika’s designer, Klaus Haapaniemi. The pattern design in Taika Sato (‘harvest’ in Finnish) showcases fruits and vegetables and continues the distinctive style Haapaniemi is known for.

The rich style of Klaus Haapaniemi's pattern design combined with the streamlined and simplified shapes of the collection's items designed by another Finnish designer, Heikki Orvola, create a timeless and enchanting collection. The shapes of the Taika Sato vases and jars are designed by Haapaniemi himself.
